Arcot's David Kaplan named Finalist in 'Bay Area CFO of the Year' awards
Nomination reflects Arcot’s strong financial performance and global leadership in online security solutions
Sunnyvale, CA – March 23, 2010 — Arcot Systems, Inc., the global leader in online fraud prevention, strong authentication, and e-Document security, today announced that its Chief Financial Officer, David E. Kaplan, has been nominated as one of three finalists for the fifth annual Bay Area CFO of the Year awards in the venture-backed-company category.
The annual awards, presented jointly by the San Francisco Business Times and Larkin Street Youth Services, recognize the accomplishments of CFOs from five different categories of companies headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area including the Silicon Valley region. Kaplan was nominated by an independent selection panel of distinguished Bay Area business and academic leaders. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on May 26, 2010, at San Francisco's Four Seasons Hotel.

Kaplan is responsible for all of Arcot's financial, legal, and human resources activities worldwide. Prior to Arcot, Kaplan's more than 25 years of experience spanned early-stage enterprises to Fortune 500 companies. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in geophysics from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.
