Arcot A-OK for e-Commerce is the cloud-based service offering 3-D Secure-compliant authentication and fraud detection for issuers and merchants allowing consumers to shop online safely. The service provides multiple layers of protection and identity verification in cardholder-not-present (CNP) situations.

The 3-D Secure protocol was co-developed by Visa and Arcot, creating the first widely used federated identity system to provide a simple yet effective way to protect against fraudulent online transactions. Today all three major card brands use this protocol in their cardholder authentication programs: Verified by Visa™, MasterCard® SecureCode™ and JCB J/Secure™.
